Starting Enchanted Moon Press LLC meant that we could publish multiple books that we are so excited to share with the world. But one thing we are learning is that we can’t do it all at once. Timing is everything.

Let me give you an example. At the start of 2023, we were hoping to release five books this year. The manuscripts are complete, and we are chomping at the bit to get them out there. But as we’re realizing how many moving parts go into the production of a book, we’ve had to scale it back a smidge. The picture book we thought might be available in March/April is now pushed to May. The illustrator needs more time. The critique group involved has a new suggestion. The formatting is a bit tricky with page measurements. We want each book launch to have its proper time for marketing and engagement.

Pushing this one book back two months also means pushing a couple of projects to 2024. And that’s okay. Good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue. All in good time. The last thing we want is a rushed product. Enchanted Moon Press prides itself in publishing quality books.

The bottom line is that as awesome as timelines are, they can also be fluid. So please stay with us, hang tight, and we promise the next book will be here as soon as it’s ready.
