Have you ever been snuggled up with a good book and felt wrapped in a warm hug? Like the words were written just for you? Ohh, it’s so good! The feeling of being connected to an author, being part of a community of like-minded readers, and sharing the same soul-touching story together.
When I think of February, I think of LOVE. There are so many beautiful ways to celebrate love in February. I know Valentine’s Day has become less and less popular, but I still believe there can be joy in celebrating love. Galentine’s Day is a new favorite of mine. Mother-child dinner dates out is another one I see more and more. Self-love routines such as massages, facials, long walks, meditation, and sunshine are fun. Volunteering at an animal shelter and loving on sweet fur babies is a wonderful idea. However you decide to celebrate Valentine’s Day this month, I hope you include a special book for yourself.
Only you know the types of books that set your soul on fire. Maybe you prefer spiritual books, like Journey of Souls. You might like inspirational books that ignite your creative juices, like The Artist’s Way. If you are looking for a beautifully written book that will rip your heart out and stay with your forever (yes, there are other readers like me that go for this kind of stuff!), then might I suggest A Little Life. There are so many delicious books waiting on the shelves, waiting for you to fall in love with them.
