On February 23, Enchanted Moon Press will be publishing a book all about “What Grown-Ups Should Know”. It will be a book written by kids (ages 2-17) and YOU could be a part of it.
Kids say the darndest things, and it’s about time a book encapsulates what kids want grown-ups to know. Entries can be heart-felt, silly, short or long. But each entry must be original and authentic.
How to Enter
To enter, please submit these three items as attachments in an email to enchantedmoonpress@gmail.com
1. Your hand-written entry. Please write about what you, as a kid, think grown-ups need to know. There are no word count restrictions, but please keep it to one page. Younger children can have parents help with handwriting. You can use blank copy paper or lined paper. All entries should be revised and edited, so your “final copy”.
2. One, two, or three photographs. These photos can be of you or the topic you are writing about. At least one photograph must be submitted with each entry.
3. A permission form, signed by your parent/guardian, giving your writing and photographs permission to be published if chosen as a winner.
Awards & Rules
– Twelve winners will be announced on February 16, 2023. – There is no entry fee. – All entries must be original work reviewed, approved, and consented by a parent/guardian. – The competition runs from January 15, 2023 to February 15, 2023.
